Mary De is the classic wrap-in-the-back sundress and jumper creating a V-back. The dress fastens with two buttons and the bodice is lined. In addition to the original smocked dress, Mary De can also be made with a smocked insert or unsmocked with a plain front bodice. Our easy-to-follow smocking instructions will make this your favorite smocking project.

Recommended Fabric: cotton broadcloth, cotton blends, gingham, calico, lightweight wool and wool blends
Notions: two 1/2″ buttons for jumper, four 3/8″ buttons for Sizes 1- 3 or five 3/8″ buttons for Sizes 4 – 8, 3/4 yd cording
