We are excited to have Adam Rateliff of Adam Sew Fun (@adamsewfun) joining us for a Bernina Q Series Owners Day. This day is all about you! Adam will talk about different types of quilting, touching on free-motion and ruler work, covering longarms on the frame and sit down machines!

Why: Maximize your investment in your Bernina; improve your skills and learn about the new Q-Matic 4.0 features.
The morning will be focused on freemotion work and ruler work. The afternoon will be spent discussing the Q-Matic, so you can get all your questions answered. This is a student driven class, so it will flow where your questions take it. This is your chance to come in and ask all of those questions you have been wondering. Need tips on thread and batting? Now’s the time to ask. This will be a full day of learning and laughing. This is a hands-on class, so when a practical question comes along or he is talking about a technique, you will get to work on it right with him. He will also discuss the amazing new features of the Q-matic 4.0 update. Lots of time-saving features you need to learn about!

Adam Rateliff grew up wanting to be a teacher. During college, he thought he would teach accounting, but now he gets to share a true passion every day with his followers. He would have never guessed that he would one day be an internationally recognized longarm teacher.
Adam learned to sew at a young age. He remembers sitting and watching his mother in the kitchen as she flipped her sewing machine out of the table and got to work. She taught him the basics of sewing and most of the fiber arts then. After college, while working as an accountant, he started quilting. This is where he found his love of BERNINA. Quilting became a part of his life, and he really found a passion and desire for it. Now he is happy to say that everyone in his family who sews, sews on a BERNINA.
In 2016, Adam purchased his first longarm and has been teaching ever since. He isn’t one to shy away from a challenge and will play until he finds a solution. Adam also brings a fresh view to the quilt world, looking for and taking out-of-the-box projects to bring to the longarm, frequently with tutorials on his YouTube channel. He has been a national educator since 2018, teaching consumers how to use a longarm, but more importantly, showing new owners that anyone can do it. His favorite part of teaching is when a once-timid student leaves with a new machine. He has a strong history of successful events, working with retailers to ensure shared goals are met.
You might know him as his social media personality, Adam Sew Fun. In 2020, he started a successful channel that he is excited to welcome BERNINA to. He is thrilled to be a part of the BERNINA Events Team and can’t wait to share some amazing classes with you.
