This accessory is new and in excellent condition. The original Bernina box does show wear due to storage.
The presser foot 578 along with the Cut ‘n’ sew attachment creates a professionally trimmed and neatened edge finish. This is done in a single operation with the attachment’s upper and lower knives trimming the edge of the fabric while it is fed under the foot to be sewn.
