The BERNINA Patchwork Foot 97 is designed for straight-stitching and is ideal for sewing ¼” or ?” seam allowances and top stitching.
It is available for BERNINA machines that have a maximum stitch width of 9mm. The foot print of the sole fits perfectly with the feeding system for the most accurate feeding and stitching when piecing patchwork blocks on a 9mm BERNINA machine.
Workaround for Foot 97 / 97D
Owners of BERNINA sewing machines, in which the foot 97 / 97D is not yet integrated in the firmware, can use it anyhow, by selecting the foot 37 / 57 or 37D / 57D.
