This is a RARE Pre-Owned vintage sewing machine with internal parts made by Toyota in Excellent Condition. Badged as a Modernage Model 289, “The World’s Finest – Automatic ZigZag Sewing Machine – Made in Japan”. .The official model number of this machine is TAZ.289.This machine uses standard low-shank attachments. This is a rare machine, and hard to find, especially in working condition. It runs well and sews a very nice straight stitch as well as a great zig-zag stitch. Has capability for cams (one cam is installed) & has a built-in pin cushion on the back. This comes with the standard foot pedal/power cord and an assortment of feet with an adjustable seam guide. Features a nice adjustable pressure foot tension control.
